Mica Heater
Mica Heater :Â
Mica Heaters are commonly used in our country and all over the world for heating molds particularly in plastics, rubber and packaging industries.
The fundamental raw materials used in production of Mica Type Heaters are mica plates which have superior electrical resistivity and heat transfer capacity. There are also two types of mica plates as muscovite and phologopite. The Mica Type Heaters manufactured of muscovite plates can be usually used conveniently in applications requiring 250°C–300°C temperatures, and Mica Type Heaters manufactured of phologopite mica plates are generally used in applications requiring temperatures above 300°C.
The fundamental principle of the Mica Type Heaters is conducting the heat produced on both surfaces of the Mica Type Heater very well, and absolutely not accumulating the heat on surfaces. A press sheet is usually used on one surface of Mica Type Heaters in order to prevent this.
Mica Heaters can be manufactured in various shapes upon request. These shapes include flat, round, L-type and U-type. This type of heaters can also be manufactured with many holes (for connection, etc.) on the surface. Power outlets of Plate Type Heaters can be screw, cable, terminal and iron plug outlets
